Winery Tours & Wine Tastings
The values of hospitality and welcoming guests are deeply rooted in Apulian culture, which is why Torrevento has always been a company open to the local area and community.
We offer our guests a variety of tours and guided tastings to explore the history of our winery and its wines.
We are situated in a former Benedictine monastery dating back to the 17th century, whose thick, dry-stone walls and ancient cellars, located 8 meters underground, remain visible. This makes it the ideal place for the maturation and ageing of high-quality wines.
The old stable, restored to preserve its original structure, is now a splendid stone room available to customers, tourists, and wine enthusiasts travelling along the Castel del Monte DOC Wine Route, who wish to stop and taste our wines.
We want to inform our visitors and wine tourists that, as an alternative to our tour itineraries, it is possible to visit only the Torrevento winery (for €10.00 per person) and choose one of the food and wine experiences offered by “Le Vigne al Castello Wine Resort” instead of the wine tasting in the cellar. At Osteria Ottolune, a refined setting where you can enjoy a tasting of Torrevento wines paired with traditional dishes from the Murgia region.
